Working in Guernsey
Full information on working in Guernsey may be found on www3.gov.gg, the official Guernsey Government website. Further information can be obtained on www.industry.guernsey.net and choosing the Information for Prospective Residents option. A Right to Work application form can be found on www.registration.gov.gg.
In summary, if you are from a country outside of the EU or EEA, then you will need a Work Permit.
For candidates from within the EU and EEA, and other candidates with a Work Permit, you will need a Right to Work issued by the Guernsey authorities.
There are 3 categories of housing licence, Open, Essential and Temporary, which all have their individual restrictions on the type of accommodation you may occupy.
